This course is designed to provide comprehensive practical guidance for all early childhood practitioners, not matter which field of work they are in, on how to apply the best practice principles in their everyday work with children and their families. The course is grounded in the latest research, which evidence shows leads to optimised long-term outcomes for children and their families, whilst fostering inclusion, a sense of belonging and greater participation in their every day lives.
The course takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete,
Best Practice for Early Childhood and Primary Educators
This course has been specifically designed, as an adjunct to the Best Practice for Early Childhood Practitioners e-learning course to support early childhood educators and primary school teachers. As an educator you are a key adult in the lives of young children and play a crucial part in their wellbeing and educational success.
In this course, learners will be guided through scenarios on how to apply Best Practice for Early Childhood Supports to an education setting, and how to be more aware of disability and developmental vulnerabilities in the classroom, and what to do in the case of detection.
If you are an ECEC Practitioner, such as Preschool Staff, Long Day Care Staff, Occasional Care Staff, Family Day Care Staff, or School Staff such as Principals, Assistant Principals, Classroom Teachers, Learning Support Teachers, Teacher’s Aides and School Counsellors, then this course if for you!
